Modis is looking for an experienced Business Objects Developer to work in the Metro-Detroit area. We have a long term contract opportunity with one of our clients that will offer an opportunity for challenge and growth on an exciting and challenging project. You will be responsible for developing complex Business Objects reports from a variety of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc. that support a financial application.
Required skills and experience for this position include experience with Business Objects, excellent SQL skills, Business Objects Reporting Suite at the enterprise level with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts. You must possess at least 4 years of experience in Business Objects with the ability to understand infrastructure with complexities involving Business Objects, Oracle, Web Services, and LDAP. You must have experience with Business Objects XIr3 Enterprise Tool, Designer, Live Office, and CMC with JSP interface skills. Experienced in developing Business Object Universes and Roles. You will be responsible for designing complex Dashboards and interactive reports. You must have experience in Business Intelligence applications with a solid understanding of web services architecture. Other skills include experience with Web Intelligence reports. The ideal candidate must be willing to work on challenging assignments and work well with Business Analysts. Excellent communication and team work skills are also required.
