Modis is looking for a Sr. J2EE Developer to work in the Metro-Detroit area. We have a long term contract opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients that will offer an opportunity for challenge and growth on an exciting global application. We are looking for a Sr. J2EE Developer with over 5 years of experience in end to end application development. You must be skills in delivering high level and low level design artifacts. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly learn new technologies and provide input on development frameworks for the team.
Required skills include over 5 years of experience with J2EE concepts and implementing various J2EE standards and specifications. Must have experience with the design and implementation of Web Services. Experience working with XML Schema and Web Service definitions. You will need to have working experience with Oracle and Unix scripting and have experience integrating enterprise applications using asynchronous mechanisms. Other required skills include core Java design patterns, experience with enterprise models, logical and physical data models, and working with a standard development methodology such as RUP and SDLC. 2 years of Service Oriented Architecture experience is needed along with experience using AJAX, JSF, XSLT, JavaScript, and HTML.
Required education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Equivalent degree. Any Sun Certifications including Sun Certified Java Developer, Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD), and Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services (SCDJWS), and/or Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer (SCMAD) is highly preferred.
